Procedure

Visa for France

Step 1: Finding an internship and signing a contract with the host company must be completed before starting the Visa process.

Step 2: Contact MyInternshipAbroad

You must prepare the following documents:

  • 1 Visa Application Form and a photo ID
  • Passport (or travel document) valid for at least 3 months after the date of return
  • An identity card or any document showing your nationality
  • Proof of student status (eg student card, proof of enrollment from your institution)
  • One round-trip plane ticket
  • A guarantee of financial resources (document attesting that you have sufficient means to live on French soil)
  • Proof of accommodation
  • A certificate of medical insurance
  • A training agreement (issued by MyInternshipAbroad)

Step 3: Complete the training agreement

We will give you this document as soon as we begin the Visa process. Each placement requires a specific agreement.
This convention assigns a special status of "trainee" and shall issue in any case the quality of employee in the host.

Step 4: The residence permit "student"

Once the file is permanently established, you can enjoy your Visa, a training agreement in good and due form and the residence card will be issued thereafter.
