Procedure
J1 Visa - USA Internship visa
Step 1: The student found the course and the contract is signed with the host.
Step 2: Contact MyInternshipAbroad
Under the formula Liberty, you must notify your employer by mail that we support the steps necessary to initiate the procedure of Visa.
Step 3: Obtain the necessary forms to document DS 2019
MyInternshipAbroad will send you the forms. We will also contact your employer to perform the necessary documents for visa issuance. You can consult the website visa-J1.fr to know which documents are necessary to obtain the visa J-1. Two tutorials are also available to explain to you in details the process at this address : visa-J1.fr/tutorial
We will send these documents to our sponsor who will validate the procedure and issue the DS 2019. A delay of one to two months is expected before the issuance of Visa.
Step 4: Make an appointment at the Embassy of the United States in Paris
The record received by our sponsor, you can make an appointment at the American Embassy in Paris to provide all necessary documents including Form DS 2019.
Step 5: Receipt of Visa
About a week after the visit to the Embassy, you will receive the visa at home.
