Strategically coordinate revenue management processes and procedures to maximize revenue from each hotel room.
– Process reservation requests
– Help and inform customers
– Draft offers
– Follow up with customers if necessary
– Collect and process modifications (e.g. cancellations) and find alternatives.
– Compile and forward booking reports to other departments, including arrival data (length of stay, number of rooms, means of payment, services requested, etc.).
– Manage and maintain group and individual inventory controls.
– Work with Revenue & Reservations Manager as required to ensure effective management of group inventory on a daily basis.
– Identify additional sales opportunities and implement campaigns to sell rooms.
– Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies.
– Work with the Revenue Manager and Marketing Manager to implement new initiatives.
– Monitor key account production and identify trends.
– Recommend pricing and strategies to ensure better positioning of the hotel.
– Assist in the creation and maintenance of prices/promotions in the various systems (CRS, PMS and our website).
– Analyze strategies, room statistics and demand factors.
– Verify month-end reporting of room statistics and provide analysis of performance against forecasts and results of implemented strategies.
– Prepare market share statistics.
– Make recommendations for future strategies.
– Analyze demand and competitors.
