Cash desk, service and kitchen. Management of cooking, preparation time and team. Shift leader and trainer of new employees. Schedule management. I developed many skills and it was an excellent experience. I discovered cooking and food preparation. I had to manage cooking times and be mentally well organized to reduce customer waiting times as much as possible. The success of the place meant that I had to be efficient, fast, concentrated and above all, not under any unnecessary stress.

During these 3 years, I learned to use various media, whether video, radio or photography. We had several projects where we had a lot of freedom to carry them out. We also learned how to use various software programs and social networks to get our messages across. There were also lots of courses in the humanities and social sciences to help us understand what our world is made of, why we do things and the values and principles that guide us.

master in sociocultural mediation and lifelong learning 2023
The values promoted by this master's program were solidarity, involvement in social struggles, emancipation and empowerment. The socio-cultural sector pursues this goal of reducing all types of inequality. We had a number of cultural mediation projects in various Brussels associations. In addition, we had to help organize events and draw up budget forecasts and retroplannings. We were trained to take on a multitude of roles in this sector, and to choose causes that were close to our hearts.
