The holder of the vocational baccalaureate in 'digital systems,' option C 'computer networks and communicating systems' (RISC) is a technician who works on the installations and equipment (hardware and software) that make up digital systems in the following professional fields: Telecommunications and networks Industrial and embedded electronics They handle activities related to preparation, installation, execution, commissioning, and preventive, corrective, and curative maintenance (diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair). They work on the power network within the scope of their skills and contribute to customer service in coordination with commercial services. Understand the implementation of a simulated or real project for installing a system Conduct an assessment of the existing setup and gather information related to the operation and characteristics of the installation's equipment Analyze the functioning of the current installation or equipment for the purpose of intervention Prepare the action plan and establish all or part of the layout and wiring plan Analyze and interpret operational indicators and establish a diagnosis The assessment methods are described in the annexes of the decree defining the diploma regarding evaluation (see particularly the exam regulations and exam definitions).

The BTS option SISR provides skills in three areas of activity: In IT support and service provision: the student is trained to meet user expectations by ensuring the availability of existing IT services. They learn to address IT needs, support the digital transformation of IT services, and maintain employability. They gain skills in managing IT assets, responding to incidents, and expanding the company's online presence. In cybersecurity of IT services: the student is trained in securing a network infrastructure, system, or service, and analyzing the risks faced by businesses, taking into account technical, organizational, and legal aspects. They acquire skills in data protection and the company's digital identity, as well as securing equipment and user practices. In system and network administration: the student is trained in system and network administration. They acquire skills to modify or adapt network infrastructure solutions: designing a network infrastructure solution, installing, testing, and deploying it while ensuring the quality of service of network equipment. The student also learns to administer and supervise the network. Under the school system, the student undertakes a 10-week internship spread over the two years of study
