They are able to audit and advocate solutions in the field of environmental and energy performance of buildings and industrial utilities.

Energy efficiency and environmental aspects within buildings are the focus of most construction projects. They comprise a set of trades that are practiced at all stages of an operation. The challenges associated with the development of these aspects change the relationships between the different stakeholders involved in the act of construction, and call for new skills that make engineers able to coordinate and manage these new issues. The engineering course in construction responds to this new situation.
